Let me formally introduce Emily to everyone. Besides Dan, she spends more time at the greenhouse than anyone. Always down to help, rarely down to dig holes, and an all around asset to the team.

Amy is getting some much needed beach time this weekend and Emily wanted a reason to be on her phone all day, so she will be posting the greenhouse through her eyes. That plus a couple absurd AI edits.

And in other news - we’re also taking pre-orders for your fall veggie seedlings! Order online now for pick up on August 8th or August 15th. $3 for a multipack. We have 20 varieties to select from.

Fall veggies want to be planted in August in Southwestern Pa so they have time to establish and produce before the fall frost hits. Our fall retail season doesn’t start until mid-September. Let us help you get an additional harvest out of your garden in 2026 & pre-order your veggie starts.

Doing something new this year! DIY Fall Planter Workshop at the greenhouse 🙌 Saturday August 15th. $45 for registration. 5 different time slots to select from. Registration is now open.

Create your own fall planter; we provide everything you need - a decorative 14” pot, Tilth soil and up to 7 curated fall plants. After planting we’ll care for your arrangement in our greenhouse until it’s ready for Pick Up on September 12th or 19th (the first two weekend of the Fall Greenhouse season!) to help you usher in fall vibes.

Plant selection will include; marigolds, ornamental veggies, mums, sunflowers, grasses, pansies, celosia, zinnias, and many more!

We’re really proud of the space we are building and are dreaming of fun ways to share it with more people, more often. We’re so looking forward to hosting events in our pavilion. Register today! link in bio
