Due to the storms we got on Wednesday (6/26) we will not be having any lessons this weekend (6/29-6/30). We sustained significant damages to our fencing and will be focusing on the necessary repairs to keep the horses safe!

We thank you for your understanding, and if you wish to help, it would be greatly appreciated!

Ok everyone! I promised an update after the school year ended. It has, and now time for some updates!!

December 2022 we lost Poca. I never made a post about it, because it gutted me to my core. By the time I was comfortable to share that with everyone, it didn't feel right. But I know that she has touched many lives, and they deserve to know. Her head was in my lap until the very end.

The following year, November 2023, Sebek lost his battle with heaves. It was taking too much from him and he didn't have the strength to keep fighting. So we helped him join Poca in greener fields. Those two were always together. Matt had owned Sebek since he was a teen, and so I let him have peace for his passing.

The beginning of 2024 started out badly with Rev colicing right after the New Year. We did what we could, but unfortunately, we lost him as well. His passing was so sudden, we were not prepared at all. Winter is a cruel season for horses, and colic does not discriminate. We have always done everything we could to prevent it from happening as much as humanly possible, but it can still happen any time, and to any horse.

While we are heart broken for the loss, time does not stand still, and farm life means you keep moving toward!

So without further ado, Check out the new barn!! We are still working on the inside, so please be mindful when you come out. It may be noisy or be in the middle of a project.

We also would like to introduce a new member to the herd! Meet Indy. Her registered name is Storm In Kona. She is a 14 year old Thoroughbred. She ran 13 races, then went on to be a polo pony. After that, she made her way down to Alabama! She is a big beautiful bay mare that loves her head scratched and is pretty brave too!

I know it has been a bit since this page has been updated. I apologize, as I am very bad at keeping up with social media.

That being said, as of right now we are taking a hiatus on lessons.
When we return, we will have big news to share.

Please hang in there with us as we navigate these changes. Once all the "dust" has settled, we hope to have an exciting new chapter for y'all to be a part of!
Until then, here's a picture of our cat telling me I should pay attention to HER and not a silly book.
