Aluga Farm I was raised in Alabama, fished tournaments, hunted on camera & helped run hunt camps in Canada. Then I married a city boy from Atlanta.

Now together we own a farm & old bass fishing club. Expect chaos, mistakes, guaranteed failure and big bass!

Well, the new boat barn officially has some boats in it! 🎣

We picked up these custom-built pond boats over the last couple of days, and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Huge thank you to Custombilt Pondtoons for building exactly what we wanted for Aluga Farm.

ALUGA I, II, III, and IV are home and ready to be put to work. I have a feeling these are going to see a whole lot of fishing. ❤️

Got home and decided Birdie and I had just enough daylight to make a few casts… and apparently that was all we needed. 😂🎣

Caught this pretty one, let Birdie give her official inspection, and sent her right back home. Just another evening at Aluga Farm. 🤎

All before breakfast. 😂

One of my favorite things about this place is that no two morning walks are ever quite the same. You head out thinking you’re just taking the dogs for a walk and end up getting the full wildlife tour.

A little visitor at Aluga Farm. 🦉

We watched this beautiful barn owl quietly make its way around the porch. No fear. No hurry. Just one of those peaceful moments that reminds me how much wildlife calls this farm home.

Sometimes the best part of living out here isn’t what we build…

It’s who shows up. 🤍

Had a little extra help around Aluga Farm with Hayes here. ❤️

We squeezed a lot into a few days — watched the pole barn come together, worked on a few projects, caught some fish (of course 😂), and just enjoyed being here together watching this place slowly become what we’ve dreamed about.

Nothing fancy… just a little recap of another good week at Aluga Farm. 🌿🎣

It may not be the most glamorous job on the farm, but it’s one of the most important. Huge thanks to Davis Fish Farms for getting the lime spread across our lakes today. We appreciate y’all helping us take care of this place. 🌿🎣
