Sheik Cattle Co. was out at Silverleaf Sporting Clays today supporting the Last Frontier Council - Boy Scouts of America annual sporting clay classic. As always, it was a great time! We managed to tie for 3rd place this year on a tough course! Already looking forward to next year!

It’s that time of year again! We’re taking orders for lean, grass-fed beef to be delivered in May. 1/4, 1/2, or whole beef, processed and packaged in vacuum sealed packaging. Pickup in OKC. Contact me for details!

Pray for the farmers and ranchers. This drought has been especially difficult. Many have sold their herds, and hay is ridiculously expensive (if you can get your hands on any). Land that usually supports cattle through the winter is spent due to the drought. Don’t be surprised by higher beef (and likely other) prices in the new year.

In 2014, it cost $879 to run a cow, compared to $852 in 2021. In 2022, it will be up by more than $100 per cow to $963.
