Glazed Ham with Pecan Crust
Ingredients:
10-pound Falls Brand ham, bone in
2 cups apple cider
1 cup light brown sugar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Insert meat thermometer into center of ham without touching bone. Place ham in baking dish and pour cider over. Roast in oven, basting with cider every 30 minutes for a total cooking time of 2 1/2 hours (about 15-18 minutes per pound), or until thermometer registers 140 degrees. Meanwhile, in bowl, combine brown sugar, mustard and pecans. Remove ham from oven during the last 40 minutes and firmly pat the sugar pecan mixture all over the ham. Return to oven and continue roasting until crust is brown and ham is done. Slice and serve with sauce. Some of the topping falls into the sauce, making it the perfect accompaniment to ham.

Earlier this month, we were delighted to have some of our hog producers and customers on-site to spend a couple days of networking, plant tours, fantastic meals, wonderful speakers and amazing entertainment! We were able to host the event in our new Employee Center and hold a producer/customer/employee barbecue on Friday. Thank you to the wonderful folks that make up this spectacular supply chain and congratulations to our partner farmers who took home awards for Best Marbling, Most Improved and Top Producer. We look forward to this event every year!

Cheesy Sausage Dip
Ingredients
1lb Falls Brand Pork Sausage
1 can Rotel
1 can of sweet corn
1 blocks cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheese
Directions
Brown sausage, drain grease. Add rotel, corn, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and season to taste, top with more shredded cheese. Bake at 350 until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy with your favorite chips!

Last weekend’s B/VI Winter Camp was an unqualified success!
We had 16 campers from all over the state who learned new skills, showed their talents and made new friends.
While indoors the campers participated in social activities, games and crafting. We had two days of perfect weather when campers took advantage of the amazing tubing hill, snowshoed through acres of pristine powder and cross country skied on perfectly groomed trails. On Saturday they lined up for rides on snowmobiles (a perennial favorite).
Winter Camp continues to be a highlight not just for the campers but also for the dedicated people who volunteer their time to make it happen.
We are very grateful for the efforts of all of the people who helped make this camp a reality.
IESDB’s very own Angie Jones worked tirelessly to forge a new partnership with the Gooding Elks Lodge as well as solidify relationships with people and organizations that have been involved in the past. Thank you Angie! You are awesome.
We want to thank the following groups and individuals:
