May 1, 2026 was the tapping of the first FIRKIN of Scout's Honor (well, really an Of The Chain Brewstillery sixtel) and we look forward to sharing this outstanding IPA with you.

Before Asparagus there are Hop Shoots - The very first edible of the season grown naturally on a local farm. To prepare hop shoots, clean them by rinsing in water and trim off any tough, woody parts, then you can cook them by steaming, sautéing, or adding them to dishes like pasta or salads. They have a flavor similar to mild asparagus and should be cooked quickly to preserve their delicate taste. Cooked and lightly spiced with a Citrus Blend then added to pasta with ham or tuna is a popular dish.
