Company founder Lynn G. Lindsay Sr. received the first patent for an automatic water softener 100 years ago. He went on to found The Lindsay Company, which later became EcoWater. Mr. Lindsay passed away at the age of 75 in 1968 but his legacy as a pioneer in home water treatment endures, inspiring the current generation of EcoWater employees.
