Texas Green Sauce Hot Wings
Ingredients:
- Canola oil, for frying
- 24 chicken wing parts (12 wings separated into 2 pieces)
- One 16-ounce jar of Texas Green Sauce (your choice of flavor)
- 1 stick of butter
- Blue cheese or ranch dip
- Celery and carrot sticks
- Fresh cilantro and lime wedges, for garnish
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Heat 3 inches of canola oil in a heavy pot to 375°F.
2. Fry half the chicken wings until golden brown and fully cooked (6-8 minutes). Remove and drain on paper towels, then repeat with the remaining wings.
3. In a saucepan, heat the Texas Green Sauce and butter over medium-low heat until it bubbles, then turn off the heat.
4. Place the wings in an ovenproof dish, pour the sauce over the top, and toss to coat. Bake for 20-30 minutes.
5. Transfer the wings to a serving platter and garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges. Serve with the remaining butter sauce, blue cheese or ranch dip, celery, carrots, and your favorite cold beverage.
