Hiii my angels!! 🪽 Here are the flavors of the week available at The Headless Librarian bookstore

🪦🍫𝕯𝖊𝖆𝖙𝖍 𝖇𝖞 𝕮𝖍𝖔𝖈𝖔𝖑𝖆𝖙𝖊
Devil's Food cake layered with dark chocolate dreamy buttercream and a light drizzle of dark chocolate ganache

This week's flavor selection but make it mini! Petits Fours (this type is also known as fondant fancies) are little bite sized labors of love; carefully layered, cut, and enrobed in european couverture white & dark chocolate pouring fondant. These are far from traditional in flavor profile, super sweet and the perfect compliment for a cup of earthy tea

This week's cake selection at The Headless Librarian bookstore

🪻☕𝕷𝖔𝖓𝖉𝖔𝖓 𝕱𝖔𝖌: Inspired by my favorite tea! Lavender cake layers filled with Earl Grey Diplomat Cream. Topped with a honeyed buttercream (with honey from the small apiary at Drunken Daffodil Farms) and a sprinkle of edible lavender flowers

🥕🍁𝕮𝖆𝖗𝖗𝖔𝖙 𝕮𝖆𝖐𝖊: Carrot cake layers spiced with nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, and clove & studded with dates, walnuts, and pecans. Layered with Spiced pumpkin cream cheese filling and our classic dreamy vanilla buttercream, topped with maple syrup candied pecans

🍒🤎𝕮𝖊𝖗𝖎𝖘𝖊 𝖊𝖙 𝕮𝖍𝖔𝖈𝖔𝖑𝖆𝖙: Devil's Food cake layers filled with dark sweet cherry compote and cherry buttercream. A swirl of more cherry buttercream and glittered dark couverture chocolate cherubs on top

🥀❤️𝕽𝖊𝖉 𝖁𝖊𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖙: Red velvet cake layers filled with whipped cream cheese filling and topped with vanilla buttercream; a simple but classic fan favorite.
