Okay Hometown Market , somehow I did it. With the help of my amazing hubby taking over kids the second he got home the last two evenings (as he always does 🥹) I was able to pull a half all nighter last night and work all day today to get it all done.
You will have goodies at the store from Wednesday morning-Saturday a little before closing. Hours: Mon-Wed 9am-4pm Sat, 9am-2pm. Address: 501 W Duval St Troup Texas
*Note the change in bagels to English muffins. Which I know some will be sad about, some will be thrilled lol There’s a reason I have to knock off bagels a lot…they take SO much time. Way more rising time than loaves, and an extra step to boot. I will get some to y’all soon. This just wasn’t the week 😮‍💨
Remember,
🎉2 NEW CREAM PIE FLAVORS🎉
• Key Lime
• Special fall themed secret flavor (only those going into the store get to see what it is a sneak peak purchase one to try!
And truly? These 2 may be my new all time favorites 🤤 The key lime literally tastes like a key lime pie, and the fall flavored is one of my favorite fall flavor/food combos. I’ve only been dreaming of making this flavored cream pie for weeks now. 😏

I am so sorry y’all, but I’m going to have to delay bringing things to Hometown Market for one day! So I will bring items Wednesday and y’all will have them through Saturday at close! All three of my kiddos are big-time struggling today, and I am basically a whole day behind on what I needed to be getting done by now 🫣😮‍💨

‼️Attention Hometown Market family‼️ Scheduled drop is going to be a little bit different this week to work around my family’s schedule. The plan is to bring baked goods on Tuesday, and they will be there to purchase until sometime on Friday (unless I sell out happens before then).
I had a request for a Key lime cream pie, so that’s what you guys get to test out this week while we are still in the hot summer months!
*NOTE: I also have another new special, and it is a secret flavor of cream pie I have been working on for my 🍁fall menu🍂! I will not be giving the details of this cream pie publicly; only those who go in to Hometown Market to shop will get to see what the flavor is and have an early bird chance to purchase and test it out! I just wanted to offer something special for those who go into Hometown Market to support me and the store itself! 🩷

I have tons of new faces on here since the birth of my third baby 3+ months ago! So it’s time for another introductory post.
Hi! My name is Jessica Isbell, known by friends and family as Jessie (please do not call me Jess haha).
I am a follower of Jesus, a wife, and stay at home/work from home mom to a 4 year old, a 2.5 year old, one little one who is no longer with us earthside, and our rainbow baby who is almost 4 months old. So when I mention a crazy life and sometimes needing to take a break for a week, this is why. 😜
I was diagnosed with celiac 18+ years ago. Zero clue what it was or meant. At the time, I thought my life had “ended” as I grew up in a conventional bakery household between my parents and my grandparents (my grandparents owned the bakery/old time general store). I didn’t even know what gluten was, much less how to do anything without it. But I did know I was so tired of being sick and tired 24/7. So we delved into all the things. Fast forward a few years, I started learning more and more about food, nutrition, holistic health, and non toxic living. I had many other health struggles along with celiac, so after being gluten (corn and soy) free for a few years, I actually wound up eating a ketogenic diet for 8 years or so. Reversed a lot of health issues (including depression and anxiety I had my whole younger life), and was the healthiest I’d ever been. I was able to transition to a more paleo way of eating, and after that, I found gluten-free sourdough! The sourdough that everyone is making these days is not anything like the Sourdough I grew up on! It was all overwhelming and confusing to me, but I really wanted to see if a fermented grain would work for me and my severe arthritis pain, mood, and blood sugar (which were the big reasons I had gone off of grains). To my surprise, my body didn’t reject it! That sent me into a huge search for clean, as close to whole food sourdough versions of food that I could find! We don’t do soy, artificial food colorings, artificial flavors or ingredients, my own family eats very limited cane sugar still, I make almost every meal at home…so *clean* foods are extremely important to me! Side note: I was actually on the verge of finding a holistic nutrition school I wanted to attend before my bakery took off. That’s how passionate I am about health and holistic living!
I so appreciate every order and dollar spent to support my passion for both! 🥹
Thank y’all for being here! ❤️
