Could you become a Babysitter?
We are so grateful for the Taylor family, who became certified babysitters to serve children in foster care, as well as their care providers. Over 50% of foster families quit after the first year due to lack of support. What does that support look like? Helping with homework, transporting to extra curricular activities, helping with appointments, or even giving parents a date night.
Megan Taylor said, "we want our boys to be a witness to God’s love for all people and His calling to care for the fatherless. And while we aren’t fostering full time, we can, at the least, give a date night to someone who desperately needs time away with their spouse or be a safe place for kids to land so they don’t sleep at an office while waiting on a placement."
