The Q-WET team spent the week in San Antonio attending the annual Texas Water Quality Association Conference. We were taught new water treatment technologies, talked with other Texas water professionals, and attended the required classes to maintain our state licensing for filtration and groundwater distribution. We even had a side of fun with a visit to Sea World. The conference is always a highlight for our team we look forward to every year.

🌎 Happy Earth Day! 🌎

In its honor, we wanted to highlight a very real problem. Trapped water in plastic water bottles. The US alone wastes 22 million gallons of water each year in landfills due to trapped water inside plastic water bottles. That is 22 million gallons of water that we will never get back into the Earth's water cycle. That is an alarming stat!

💦So please remove your bottle cap from your plastic water bottle before discarding it so the water can go back into the water cycle. Even better! Use a reusable water bottle. It’s easy, clean, and guarantees you are not trapping water from us. 💦
