Meet Elijah.

Favorite flavor: Peanut Butter Honeycomb, of course! 🍯

Elijah has never met a book he wasn’t willing to read (he’ll read a tire brochure if it’s sitting next to him, but his favorite books are The Count of Monte Cristo and Notes from the Tilt-a-Whirl), a fact he wasn’t willing to remember, or a joke he wasn’t willing to tell.

He keeps our family laughing with his quick wit, spot-on impressions, and observations that seem to come completely out of left field. He’s a voracious reader, a gifted actor, a talented musician, and is always busy serving in our church. Elijah is planning to graduate from high school and follow in his brother’s footsteps by going to New Saint Andrew’s College in 2027.

Life is simply better when Elijah is around. We’re grateful for his hard work, his joyful spirit, and the unique way he blessed those around him.

As we begin our busy summer season and increase our hours, you’ll see some new friendly faces behind the counter alongside our family. Before then, we wanted to formally introduce you to the familiar faces you’ve seen over the past few months.

🎓 Meet Jack.

If you’ve visited Milk and Honey, you’ve probably seen our oldest son behind the counter with a smile on his face and an ice cream scoop in his hand.

Jack recently graduated from high school and will be spending the summer serving customers before heading off to New Saint Andrews College this fall where he will study organ and sacred music composition.

His favorite flavor is Lively Lemon 🍋. He loves playing the organ, serving in our church, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and spending time with his siblings. He has been a huge part of helping our little creamery get off the ground. (And that drawing in the shelf…Jack gave that to us as a Christmas gift years ago, long before Milk and Honey was a thing. 💙)

We’re proud of the young man he has become and grateful to the Lord for His faithfulness in Jack’s life. We’ll still get a few more months of seeing him in an apron before college begins and we’re so glad for that.

Fun fact: our family has never been a big fan of chocolate ice cream. 🙈 But when we created our Brownie Batter and everyone kept reaching for that scoop…we knew it was a keeper. 😋 What about you - are you team chocolate?
