We’ve taken you on quite the journey with Milk and Honey’s hours lately! 😅 Thank you so much for your patience as we continue to learn our business, find a sustainable rhythm, and figure out how best to serve you. We’re thankful for each one of you who visited our shop this summer!

Starting TODAY, we’re moving to our new fall hours! We’re happy to say we’ll continue to be open Tuesday through Saturday, just with shorter weekday hours.

Friends,

Milk and Honey will be closed August 3–17. We’ll reopen Tuesday, August 18.

Over the next couple of weeks, our family will be traveling to Idaho to take our oldest son, Jack, to college. This is one of those bittersweet milestones that only comes around once. We’re grateful to have the opportunity to help him begin this next chapter, and we’re thankful for customers who will celebrate this season with us.

Thank you for supporting not just our little creamery, but our family as well. It means more than you know. These first eight months have been an incredible blessing, and we’re so grateful you’ve been part of them.

If you’d like one more scoop or some pints before we leave, we’d love to see you tonight and tomorrow.

Thank you for your understanding, your prayers for safe travels, and especially for Jack as he begins this new adventure.

We’ll look forward to welcoming you back on Tuesday, August 18 with freezers full of fresh ice cream!

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

We are so blessed to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave, and we thank God for His mercy and kindness to our nation.

Today we’re celebrating with a few special offerings:

🇺🇸 Red, White & Blue Topping - blueberry compote, macerated strawberries, and fresh whipped cream on your favorite scoop. About as close as we’ll get to red, white, and blue ice cream…since we’re proudly dye-free. 😉

🥧 Limited Edition Flavor: As American as Apple Pie - creamy vanilla with buttery flaky pie crust pieces and ribbons of our freshly made apple pie filling. Think apple pie à la mode in a scoop.

Meet Jemima. 🤍

When we first opened Milk and Honey, she was somewhat nervous about interacting with customers. She’s naturally quiet, so talking with strangers felt a little intimidating.

As it turns out, serving people has become one of her favorite things. Watching her discover that has been one of our favorite things to see since opening the shop. She takes great joy in talking with each one of you and serving perfect scoops. She’s also taken over the S’mores cookie stock, so you have her to thank every time you enjoy one of those. 🍪

She’s fiercely loyal, loves babies, and is one of the steadiest people we know. Whether she’s organizing a room or serving a scoop of ice cream, she has a way of making people feel cared for.

At home, you’ll usually find her with a violin in her hands or filling the house with beautiful singing. Her music is one of God’s sweetest gifts to our family.

Happy 15th birthday, Jemima. We thank God for the faithful, gentle young woman you’re becoming.

Your generosity will help Living Alternatives continue serving women, children, and families in our community as they proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and care for those facing pregnancy-related needs.

One more update: you loved ice cream a little more than our freezers could keep up with! We sold out of most of our flavors, so we’ll be closed today while we make fresh batches and restock the dipping cabinet.

We’ll be back tomorrow with full freezers. Thank you again for making yesterday so special. 🍦

Every child is a gift from God, and every life is worth celebrating. 🤍

This Dobbs Day, Wednesday, June 24th, we are giving away FREE ice cream to pregnant mothers and children 12 and under in celebration of every child and every life.

We’re also honored to partner with Living Alternatives, a local ministry committed to protecting the unborn, educating parents, and providing resources for women and families facing pregnancy-related needs. Their mission is to promote a culture of life for women, children, and families while sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with all who enter their doors.

All other proceeds from the day will be donated to support their work in our community.

Happy Father’s Day to all the men who love, serve, and lead their families well. And especially to the dad behind Milk and Honey. We’re grateful for Peter and the countless ways he cares for our family, our shop, and our community. His steady faithfulness is a gift to us all.
