As National FFA week comes to a close. Here is a few pictures from this week at the MS State Capitol. They will go on to compete at District this week.

It’s calving season. Tj and I are so thankful that the kids are older and able to help us more as we get older. We have been blessed so far, 1 Simmental heifer, 2 red angus bulls, and 2 red angus heifers. We are still awaiting 11 babies, praying for healthy and safe deliveries.

It was time to give vaccinations to the fall 2024 calves a few weeks ago. We had a few extra helpers and got it completed. We enjoyed the time together as a family and we didn’t hollar at each other that much. 🤣 When you’re working cattle together you always have a few weak moment. 🫣 The new cattle pen and squeeze chute made it much easier on us all. Praying for a productive year!

He placed 2nd in showmanship in his age division at SW District in Jackson last Thursday. Good job, buddy.

We had a snow day in South Mississippi Tuesday. It was beautiful and we enjoyed getting to experience the snow with our children. Reagan is 15, Jack is 11, and Jase is 10. The odds of having a snow like this again before they are older and in high school is slim. It was a wonderful experience. Reagan loves taking pictures of the farm and she enjoyed taking some snow day pictures. I am going to share them below. I did take a few as well.
