While on vacation we met some nice folks at the Waynesville farm mkt." Sustainabillies" they grow mostly heirloom varieties. Finally, found a couple Scotch Bonnet peppers to add to my collection

Sunflowers that the Kiddos Church NC sowed a few weeks ago are ready just in time for Mothers Day Some seeds fell into good soil 🙂

I've heard good things about this variety. It's supposed to be a Roma on steroids. Good for canning and homemade Salsa I ordered 25 seeds from burpee for a little over $11 with shipping. A normal tomato seed germinates in 5-7 days so after 7 days and no signs of life, I contacted Burpee to let them know of my dissatisfaction and their seeds were bad. Its going on 14 days and I now have 7 babies🌱 and counting. 🙂
Well, now it's time to write them back and apologize 😂

I wanted to take a minute and thank you all for making this year's Earth Week plant sale a huge success! There's a lot of planning and work involved beginning in Jan. to get the plants ready in time. It gets stressful to say the least not knowing what to expect and you guys definitely made it worthwhile.
We raised a little money to help our veterans and invest in next year's activities. 🇺🇸
Gardening not only provides nourishment and beauty, but creates a micro ecosystem that positively impacts our environment.
I've found over the years gardening fosters collectivism and good vibes among all people, which is why I Love it. ♥️
If you were lucky enough to get one of the Queens King 4lb tomatoes be sure to keep pictures and document how big yours get. We'll see who will get bragging rights on this year's largest 🍅

Early Morning 🍅 Gardening 125 tomato pots and 26 cucumber pots 🥒
