I lost Chuck at an unfortunately young age and only got him collected once, so his s*men is LIMITED (like this will be the only for sale in the near future.)

Lamancha starter pack update!

You can now take home the 1st/1U yearling milker at the 2025 National Show! Chai did it! I knew she could. What a beauty!

Her trio-mate Piquillo also had a great showing placing 6th place yearling!

You can take them both home!

Other notable placings....5th place yearling was the genetic full sister to Magical Mystery Tour's dam, 2nd/2U three year old is the Maternal sister to Mystery.

I am so excited to have been accepted to the 2025 Spotlight Sale with my out of the box idea.

My first Lamancha, GCH Kastdemur's Love Me Dew was born in 2006. Magical Mystery goes directly back to her. Chai and Piquillo are from my most consistent dam line that has produced a litany of beautiful animals all around the country.

We are proud to present for the FIRST TIME ever to the Spotlight Sale, THREE animals in one lot!

I have been a lifelong ADGA supporter. I gleaned my love of goats from my parents, and a love of ADGA from my dearest friend Karen Senn. For the last 20 years ever since my first trip to Nationals with Kastdemur’s and Lakeshore I have been a true supporter of ADGA through good times and bad. I have done my best to help wherever I can and promote the goat. The Spotlight sale has been one of my favorite ways to support ADGA with my herd. This is my 4th Spotlight nomination, and I also did a Colorama Sale nomination in 2022.

In working to find balance in my life I am selling the LaManchas down to just 4 milkers. The last two does to sell are Chai and Piquillo. They may be the hardest to sell, but what a way to go. On the biggest stage in ADGA. This trio of goats has so many possibilities. A starter herd for someone wanting to get a great start in LaManchas. A whole re-direct of a breeding program if needed. Find two friends and split the pot. Find 10 friends and make a splash!

Chai is made by design. Specifically bred for all the qualities she exhibits. Her pedigree speaks for itself. She is an outstanding doe with a bright future. She is long and tall with an outstanding mammary system. Piquillo is the last live service Beowulf daughter. Her dam is the 2022 National Champion, and her sire is a 2x Premier Sire. Yes Please! Mystery is a very special guy. After not utilizing AI for my breeding program, I decided to give it a try last year. I got five conceptions! Mystery is the result of my most anticipated one. He is extremely handsome, and his mother is a proven brood doe with multiple lovely offspring.

These animals are out of my two foundational lines and will make someone very happy!

Invested parties update.

We are getting into the swing of kidding season and I'm starting to contact people about animals they were interested in. If you don't hear from me by the end of the month please reach out.

I'm needing to move goats fairly quickly so preference will be given to those that can pickup or arrange transport in a timely manner. Especially for milkers. It's possible that I will have transport east available in late May, but also cannot keep the bulk of the animals until then. Thank you for your understanding.

I also just completed a whole herd CAE test (every animal over 6 months old on the farm). See results below. 🙌

3. Due to finances (or lack thereof) I will be dispersing the majority of the LaMancha herd in the spring after they kid. Reasonably priced to move. I can provide 2024 pictures of most.

ALL Lamanchas listed in #1 and #2 are now up for discussion with the exception of Abbey, Blackbird, Lucy, Cannoli, Aleppo.

Nearly ALL 2025 kids will be available also.

4. As most of you know I also board and manage the Shining-Moon Alpines for my good friends Grant and Micki Colfax. They will remain the majority of my herd following the LaMancha dispersal. They do not have a website either, but if you are interested in an Alpine from us, please reach out here to ask.

5. Since I try to keep my goat stuff here and not on my personal page, I am also announcing that my ADGA Board of Director term is up this year, and I will not be seeking re-election. I look forward to a new face on the board. I have mostly enjoyed the last 10 years (Yes, 10) and have been proud of my contributions. I plan to still be active in ADGA through committee work.
