Narragansett jakes- 3 available!

We received them in June from McMurray Hatchery. The adult tom and jennys are not available, just pictured to show size and appearance once full grown.
Fun facts about the Narragansett breed:
They are heritage breed turkeys on the The Livestock Conservancy Critical Priority List as: watch. In the 90’s they were nearly extinct but have increased in population numbers to graduate up on those lists. We participated in the poultry census this year to help with this information.
• Temperament: Known for a calm, docile, and friendly disposition, making them easy to handle on small farms and homesteads.
• Hardiness: Highly cold-hardy, active foragers, and alert to predators with a strong ability to fly.
•Meat & Eggs: Valued for superior, flavorful heritage meat and strong maternal/brooding instincts. Hens lay around 50 to 100 pale cream-to-brown speckled eggs per season.
These are all reasons we chose them for our farm.☺️
