Well. Here he is everyone! My very first sourdough bread loaf-from my very own starter.
It’s far from perfect looking but damn did it turn out good. Tastes great and has that nice crunchy crust with the soft middle. ❤️ 🥖

I’d like to introduce everyone to my newest dependent. He’s a tad moody and sometimes might smell funny but he’s surprisingly easy to care for compared to some of my other dependents on the homestead. 😂🐐🐐🐓🐖🦆🐰🐕🐈👶👧👦🤵‍♂️

Wow!! What a day!
Lots picked from the garden. 2 giant cauliflower heads and about 10-15 pounds of sweet peppers and tomatoes. 🍅 🫑 20 quarts tomato sauce cooked down and canned from that, lawn mowed, laundry done took the kids to Bradley’s Farm to play while I picked some dead head sunflowers to harvest seeds!!!
Now pizza for dinner and a movie with my munchkins.
It’s hard work but gratifying seeing the pantry so full!
Added it up today and we have canned almost 250 quarts worth of food this year so far not to mention all the frozen stuff haha
Still going strong 💪 break from harvest tomorrow for a bit for 2 soccer games. Woohoo ⚽️
