This piglet from Sweetie just screams "Dumbo". We focused on pet sized with this breeding and this cutie is going to bring a lifetime of pure joy to whoever ends up with her. I mean just look at those ears!!!

We had a quick weekend away, starting with a TobyMac concert along with a few others that did not disappoint. Sunday we headed towards home with spending a little time in elk country.

Always find a way to get away from the homestead even if it's for 24 hrs, everyone needs a little rest!

Koa update!

(In case you missed our post from April, he is the registered boar we picked up.)

He is looking really good ! He is growing quickly He will be put into service next year! I can't wait to see what he matures out to be in stature and the offspring he will produce!

Did you know that we plant more than whitetail plots?? One of our projects this week was a 1 acre field of sunflowers, millet, and grain sorghums. The PH Outdoors G3 drill gives us a ton of flexibility to create habitat for all types of wildlife. This field will be a major food source for doves, turkeys, and grouse as we head into fall and winter.
