Lady Liberty was born this morning. She is a half cracker and half Charolais heifer.

We had our first Florida Cracker calf born on the farm. It is only half Cracker, because our registered bull calf isn’t old enough to breed yet, but our cow Flecha did great. We now have six calves, with only one heifer so far, but many more calves to come in the next several weeks.

It’s already calving time again. So far it’s three for three bull calves. We kept several calves from the last time out ...
