Meet our newest tea: Summer Unwind. 😍

Some teas are made for morning or evening routines. We created this one for the moments in between.

The slow summer afternoons. Trips to the farmers market. Days by the pool or at the beach. And those rare days when there's absolutely nowhere you need to be (those are my favorite!).

Our new Summer Unwind tea is a refreshing blend of organic hibiscus, peppermint, rosehips, and lavender. It's bright, floral, and hands down our favorite tea to sip over ice with a touch of local honey.

And as a woman navigating perimenopause, I have to say this tea blend has been a lifesaver for me. I’ve found that it helps take the edge off hot flashes and makes those hot, unbearably humid days feel just a little more manageable. 💛

One of our favorite summer hacks is to brew a pitcher, keep it in the fridge, and freeze some into ice cubes. Drop a few into a glass of cold water whenever you need a little refresh.

Here's to slowing down, soaking up the remaining dog days of summer, and enjoying the little moments that make this season so incredibly special. ❤️

Summer Unwind is available now on our website, at the events we attend, and through Farmstand Society. Grab a bag while our limited summer batch is available!

We’re so excited to share this special collaboration with two of our fellow The Farmstand Society vendors!

This idea started when Shannon, co-founder of The Farmstand Society, was getting ready for bed and had one of those small business owner moments where you’re still thinking about everyone else’s businesses at the end of the day (because we never really turn it off 😂). She had the idea to bring together the incredible raspberries from Hidden Hope Farm (Nitti Family) with the maple syrup from Westchester Maple (𝕎𝕖𝕤𝕥𝕔𝕙𝕖𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕄𝕒𝕡𝕝𝕖 - 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕍𝕒𝕤𝕤 𝔽𝕒𝕞𝕚𝕝𝕪) to create a really special summertime granola, which we loved!

When we first tasted the raspberries from Hidden Hope Farm, we were blown away (and Emi had a tough time keeping her hands and mouth away from them 😂). They reminded us of the old-school red raspberry Jolly Ranchers we loved as kids...that perfect balance of sweet and tart with an amazing, fresh raspberry flavor. They’re picked when they’re perfectly ripe and Shannon said that they fall right off the bush with just a flick of her finger. ❤️

We knew we had to run with Shannon's idea and capture that flavor in a granola, so we created this Limited Edition Raspberry Granola using fresh raspberries from Hidden Hope Farm and 100% pure maple syrup from Westchester Maple. To pack in as much real raspberry flavor as possible, we used Hidden Hope's fresh raspberries and dehydrated even more of their raspberries ourselves before mixing both into our signature activated granola. The result is a burst of raspberry in every bite!

This bright, crunchy, nut-based, gluten-free, oat-free, vegan granola is the perfect summer time granola, served over yogurt or ice cream, with your favorite milk, or straight from the bag.

This flavor is only available through The Farmstand Society and we made a small batch while Hidden Hope Farm’s raspberries were in season, so grab a bag before they're gone!

The market opens up this evening and services customers living within a 40 mile radius of Brewster, NY. Follow The Farmstand Society for updates.

*Note: We make all of our granola out of a commercial kitchen. These photos were taken while we were making test batches in our home kitchen. 🥰

Introducing our new Mixed Berry granola! 😍

At a gluten-free event earlier this year, a customer stopped by our booth and told us that while she's the one who needs to eat gluten-free, her husband is the one who's completely hooked on our granola. And she mentioned that he would love if we made a Mixed Berry granola.

The funny thing is, Rene and I already had this flavor on our list of new granolas to experiment with. After that conversation, we moved it right to the top and got to work. 😊

For this granola, we wanted berries in every bite. Instead of adding a variety of berries loose in the bag with our granola, we decided to crush organic freeze-dried blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, then mix them into the granola before dehydrating it.

That left us with a bright, sweet/tart berry goodness woven throughout every bite of granola.

It’s fruity, flavorful, and bursting with real berries. And, just like all of our other granolas, it's nut based, gluten-free, oat-free, and vegan. All organic ingredients and dehydrated for that amazing texture and crunch that we all love!

We’ve been eating it by the handful as a snack, sprinkled over yogurt with fresh berries for an extra berry-filled breakfast (just like with chocolate, there's no such thing as too many berries!), and over ice cream when we're craving a special treat.

If you're a berry lover like we are, then this granola was made for you! ❤️

How cute are these little munchkins? 🥰 We packaged them up yesterday and they’ll be included in every order that was placed through this past weekend!

We’re so excited to be part of Farmstand Society, which a new online farmers market that makes it easy to shop from local farms and small businesses and have fresh, locally sourced products delivered right to your door.

Jessica from (co-founder of Farmstand Society, alongside Shannon ) first shared the idea with me last summer and asked if we’d be interested in joining the vendor lineup. I immediately loved the concept — not only because it supports local farms and makers, but because it gives our community an easy way to access incredible local products without leaving home (though I’ll always love weekends at farmers markets connecting in person!).

Farmstand Society officially launched last month, and we’re thrilled to be along for the ride. Think Misfits Market, but local.

Shopping opens each weekend, and you’ll find all of our granolas, teas, and DIY Elderberry Syrup Kits available on their site. Deliveries go out on Wednesdays.

Serving Lower Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester Counties in NY + Fairfield County, CT.

If you’re in any of those areas, check them out! 💛

Apparently one bag of our new Double Chocolate granola wasn’t enough for this trip… so we brought two. 😅

Slow mornings, ocean views, family time, new core memories unlocked, the best food ever (we're still dreaming about the fresh papaya, watermelon, and pineapple after each meal!), and a little extra chocolate made our time in El Salvador even sweeter. ❤️

Pictured: Me, Derek, and his girlfriend, Chasiti -- the "after" pic. ❤️

I did something I always said I would never do. I jumped out of a plane.

And I didn’t do it for the thrill. I did it for my son.

After Derek's dad and I divorced, Derek and I went through a lot of change, and at times it felt like we lost the easy connection we once had.

Ultimately, we all decided it was best for Derek to primarily live with his dad and spend every other weekend with Rene, Emi, and me. While I knew it was the right decision for all of us, it broke my heart.

Since then, I’ve been really intentional about finding ways to reconnect with him.

Skydiving became one of those ways.

It was something he had dreamed about since he was little, so for his 18th birthday, I gifted us both a tandem jump. I was terrified, but I chose not to overthink it -- and to simply YOLO.

And when the moment came, I just jumped.

It ended up being one of the most meaningful experiences we’ve shared, and a memory I know we’ll carry forever.

I’m sharing the full story, what it taught me, and why I’m actually planning on doing it all over again on our blog.

I’d love to hear from you! What is something you’ve been putting off because it scares you?

xoxo,
Lisa

Our newest granola smells like brownie batter. 😍

As Rene and I were making a batch of our new Double Chocolate granola yesterday, I had a cozy image of making brownies in our home kitchen with Emi. Why did that image pop into my head? Because the granola "batter" smells like brownie batter. Deep, rich, chocolatey, and mouth watering. Comfort in a bite!

I'm a self-proclaimed chocoholic, and this granola is my love letter to chocolate in its purest form. Organic cacao powder for that bold, earthy depth. Organic cacao nibs for crunch and intensity. Chocolate-forward, but never overwhelming. Rich enough to feel indulgent, balanced enough to be your everyday go-to. ♥️

We've been enjoying it over yogurt, ice cream, and — for the truly committed chocoholic — chocolate pudding topped with fresh raspberries. It's heaven in a bowl.

One of our longtime customers recently taste tested it for us and said it best: "The flavor is perfect, the texture is soft, the sweetness is just right, and the amount of chocolate couldn't be better. Everything is spot on and every ingredient works beautifully together."

We couldn't agree more — and we think you're going to love it!
