PLEASE READ:

Beware of The Humane Society of the United States. They are NOT who you think they are. They are a radical group and NOT affiliated with our local humane society shelters. In fact, it doesn’t operate a single shelter or adoption center ANYWHERE. The name is MEANT to deceive you. They have the same disgusting goals as PETA but they are much more sneaky about it. They are the 71st largest charity in the US but they donate less than 1% to animals. They used their money to campaign the greyhound racing ban. They spent millions and then they left 15,000 dogs high and dry. They refused to give even a single penny to feed those dogs, transport to rescue, house those dogs, etc etc. They WANT them to die because they do not believe in pet ownership at all. They use back doors and vague wording in laws on purpose.

They are now doing the same for hunting dogs in multiple states and I guarantee they will start coming for other areas as well. We need to help spread education!

So PLEASE, go see if you’re one of those people that is confused by their name and tricked into thinking they are someone that they are not. Spread education because when (not if, when) HSUS laws hit the ballots, I hope people can make educated decisions and read the fine print, the vague terminology, and the REAL motives behind these movements. They do not want you to own pets.
