After careful consideration, I have decided to let this girl go. Originally was a contender to be retained, but she is filling out almost identical to a lamb from last season. She comes with papers to be registered. She is a Painted Desert ewe lamb and is 4 months old. Located in Union City, TN.

We were beginning to think this momma wasn't going to give us her babies. While we would have been fine with one baby from this first time mom, Blossom gave us a set of twin girls. She had them sometime during the early hours of the morning because they were all cleaned up and nursing when we went out to do farm chores and discovered our little surprises.

Came home from church today to find a new baby from Buttercup. She just turned 6 years old on January 25th. This big ram makes her 9th baby over the years. We got her when she is 1 day old. We bottle fed her and she wore diapers. She stayed in our house until April because at the time we didn't have any other sheep or even goats. She has been Addison's baby from the get go and now is the most spoiled livestock animal we have. She doesn't mind showing her attitude if she doesn't get her way either.

Went out to the barn this morning to a new set of twins by Meadow. Mostly Black is a ram and spotted lamb is an ewe. I guess this is the year for Black and white babies. I have two more ewes to go and one nanny. Nine babies on the ground so far.
