A Proclamation to the Union of The Grove
Hear ye, hear ye, good folk of Union Grove.
In a place known for its kindness, its courage, and its love of peace, a troubling tale has begun to spread. The Union of The Grove -steadfast villagers with brave hearts and steady hands - now finds itself under siege. Not by giants. Not by war. But by a horde of tiny dragons.
Small in size, yes… but mighty in mischief.
Whispers tell of fiery breath sparking a kitchen fire at Baking Bird. Burned popcorn at Pine Acres raises further suspicion. Was it dragon smoke that set off the alarm at Just Brew It? And who - who - devoured the smoked pork at Tailwinds Brewery under cover of night? Tiny talon marks scar a wedding cake at Country Rose, while the once-fiery kilns of Seven Seas stand mysteriously cold, their heat seemingly consumed by flame-hungry beasts.
No place has been spared.
Not T-Macs.
Not Coalminers.
Not Mulberry’s.
Not Old Settler's Inn, nor Shepherds Community Cafe.
Our village is in danger.
From January 26 through January 30, the Union of The Grove must rise. Hunters young and old are called to seek, capture, and contain these troublesome dragons wherever they may be found. Hundreds roam the village, hiding in plain sight, sowing chaos with fluttering wings and embered breath.
But fear not... hope still lives.
On January 31, National Friends of Fantasy Day, all captured dragons must be brought to The Nerdy Word, where they shall be carefully counted, contained, and accounted for, restoring peace to the village at last.
And the bounty for this heroic task?
A magic book - one extraordinary hardcover tome - granted to the hunter who captures the most dragons. A prize said to open the mind, lift the heart, and spark endless wonder, knowledge, and possibility.
So gather your courage, sharpen your wits, and protect The Grove.
The dragons are many.
But the Union… is stronger.
