Come check out our "Sale Bench". Just added some very nice looking zinnias in 4.5" pots. Guess we started too many and we would like to see them gone. Buy 2 and get 1 free.
Also on the bench is what we have left for pansies that we cut back a couple weeks ago and are now reblooming and looking pretty good. Just $2.00/pack.
We still.have lots of quality annuals and veggies left, but don't wait too long as quantities are diminishing.

Like every other farmer in the area, we are making hay while sun shines. A productive day, despite some costly repairs. 330 square bales and 4 large round to finish the field.
I mention costly repairs to help explain the increase in price this year as well as the price of diesel fuel. The cost to replace those 4 roller bearings in the picture. $211 and that is only one repair job and Matthias Hawes did the work to repair, so parts only!
Bottom line for our customers?
$8.00 for square bales and $85 for round bales. Yes, a big jump in price, but equipment costs, taxes, insurance, and labor costs are taking a bigger percentage of profit margins, which any farmer will tell you, "ain't much anyway."

Just a reminder that we are open all weekend, including Memorial Day until 3 PM. Looks like a good gardening weather, but take time to stop, reflect, and remember those who have passed before us. Especially those that have given their lives in protecting our freedoms.
