Hey Peterstown!
So I was throwing around the idea of a farmer’s market on Saturdays sometimes,
when we set up in the lot beside the flower shop.
I was considering this Saturday, but didn’t get enough of a variety of things to sell.
I realize it’s early in the growing season, and not much is ready to sell.
Here’s a list of options I’d be looking for:
Homegrown vegetables and fruits,
Homemade jams and jellies,
Homemade baked goods,
Sewing,
crocheted items,
Crafts,
Handmade items and art of any kind,
Do you see a trend?☺️
Homemade stuff is the best!

This weeks Pretzel Day schedule:🥨🥨🥨
Tuesday, June 16, we will be in PRINCETON at the Big Lots on Stafford Drive.
All days are 10-5:00.

Friday, June 19, we will be in FAIRLEA
at WV Helping Hands Thrift Store
(the old Fritz pharmacy)
across from McDonald’s.

Saturday, June 20, we will be in Peterstown.
We are thinking about opening it up for a little farmer’s market situation in the grassy area beside the flower shop.

Is that something you would be interested in?

Message me if you would want to be a vendor if we do that.
I’d be specifically looking for homegrown vegetables and eggs etc, homemade goodies of all kinds, crafts, even yard sales if you wish.
And let us know if that’s something you’d enjoy for the Peterstown community. ❤️

And we are hoping to be running Big Blue by Friday, so be on the lookout for that!
It’s about time that big guy gets out again 😅

Hey everyone!
Just answering a few questions about today.
We do have all licenses required, including the Lewisburg city license, and had everything we legally needed.

We had seen Walmart post about wanting food trucks to come set up for the Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser.

We reached out because typically we can’t set up in Lewisburg,
because of the food truck rules
(of which we are very aware!)
and it was for a good cause at the same time.

I made sure to ask the manager (she’s amazing!) if we need any special permits or anything,
but she said no, typically there’s nothing extra you need.
They’ve done this before and there were no issues.
So we went to set up today, and just before 10 (when we open) someone came and said we have to leave.
We tried to work things out with them, but they were not to be persuaded.

It’s okay. We should have known better.
We’ve had other experiences in Lewisburg, and have heard so many other people’s stories too.
We have plenty of other places we can go.

But the thing that seemed very thoughtless was this.
Why wait till we are literally all set up ?
(it takes almost two hours to set up and get everything prepped, because we make our pretzels from scratch.)
We just wished we would have been notified beforehand.

There is SO much work that goes on behind the scenes of a food truck and unless you’ve worked one, you may not realize that.

But it all worked out okay, and we left for our usual spot in Fairlea.

A lot of you found us, and I apologize from the bottom of my heart, if you were looking for us, or made a special trip over to see us, and we weren’t there.

On top of everything, my Facebook wasn’t letting me post the change!
It was quite a day 😅

A big thank you to you all for putting up with the chaos and finding us wherever we may be.
Special shoutout to the ones who even came in the storm😉😎
Y’all are the real deal!

Shoutout to Walmart for trying to help and inviting us to come. I’m sorry for the stress we caused you!

Hey yall!
So the plan was to set up at Walmart today, and we did!
But around 10:00 we were shut down by the city of Lewisburg.
So we are set up at the old Fritz pharmacy across from McDonald’s in Fairlea.
Open till 5!
Oh and Facebook was glitching and not letting me update yall! 😅 it’s been a day!!

We don’t get over to Lewisburg a whole lot, so this is your chance if you’re anywhere close to the area!!
We will be set up at Walmart, right beside the grocery entrance, from 10 to 5 today today .
