Let me introduce you to the “Salt of the Earth Sunday “ this week.
Becky Shires Weiss was nominated by her daughter Desirée Weiss Bennett.
“She is the definition of selfless. She spent over a year faithfully caring for her own mother through her cancer journey, standing by her side until the very end with strength, compassion, and unwavering love.
Even in the hardest moments, she chose grace.
She goes above and beyond for her family every single day without ever expecting recognition or anything in return.
If someone needs help, she’s there. If someone needs peace, comfort, or encouragement, she brings it.
She serves and loves our local Amish community and serves others with such a genuine heart and treats everyone with respect, compassion, and care.
In a world full of chaos, my mom seeks peace in every situation. She leads with kindness, patience, and humility, and I’m so thankful to call her mine. The world needs more people like her. ❤️
What makes my mom so special is her servant’s heart. She lives out her faith daily by loving others the way Christ calls us to—putting others before herself, giving generously, and serving without expecting anything in return.
She is a beautiful example of kindness, humility, grace, and unconditional love. Whether helping family, friends, or strangers, she reflects the hands and feet of Jesus in everything she does. I am so thankful for her example and the blessing she is to so many lives. ❤️”
This little series has been so much fun,
