School is out and summertime
Is here! I will be taking a break from baking over the next few weeks, beginning Monday June 9th. If you have an order already placed with me for June I will make it as usual, however I will not be taking NEW orders until late summer. Thank you to all my customers who support me year around! Just before Christmas seven years ago, I started making old fashioned layer cakes and pound cakes for a few of my friends. These were recipes handed down from my grandmother to my mother and on to my sister and I. It was just supposed to be a hobby, but through the years it has grown into a full time job😂. I enjoy baking and making new cakes but I’ll be the first to tell you that after the thanksgiving and Christmas rush I’m always ready to throw in the towel! The one thing that keeps me going is my customers…they support me all year…not just during the holidays. They let me
Be a part of their lives…birthdays, babies, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, parties, homecomings, sickness and funerals. The Lord has truly blessed me! As we close out this year, I want to thank each one of my customers for their support and encouragement this past year, and I wish for all a Happy New Year🎉🥳

Now that all the Christmas cakes and goodies are made and delivered it’s time to slow down a little and enjoy the Christmas season. I’m thankful for the real reason for Christmas…celebrating the birth of My Savior…I’m thankful for time spent with my family and friends. And I’m thankful for the “families” that I enjoy and appreciate all through the year, not just at Christmas. I love being a small part of birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, even funerals, baby showers, and all the events for which my customers ask me to bake. You are all special to me, and I love being a little part of your lives. Thank you for your confidence in me to help make your events a little “sweeter!” 😊. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year🎄🎊
