Hey guys! Christmas is quickly approaching. Time to start thinking about money saved and money spent. I'm sure the kiddos have already started chirping in your ear.
Instead of spending a hundred dollars on a Lego set that will get thrown to the side in a matter of months, think about going to your local pet shelter, i.e. Humane Society, local pet rescue. There are a ton of animals that need a home in the area and are begging you for attention.
Who wants to spend the holiday alone said no one. The same goes with your furry friends. They have, but don't have a voice, but you can see it in their eyes. I challenge you to be brave enough to at least walk through your local shelter and not tear up.
What does it do for you, your children? I dare you to be even braver and adopt an older animal that may have only a couple of years left but will give your kid's responsibility, kindness, and faith in humanity, and the best couple years of your life. All animals, regardless of age, deserve love and they will give you back twice that which you give them. Kids today, need to get off their phones, quit Tik Tock, Instagram, Snap Chat, and learn the love of an animal. What does it cost you? An adoption fee to have your animals first shots, and in most cases neutered or spayed. What's the payoff, a lifetime of unconditional love and happiness even for just a few years. An animal's love is just that, unconditional love. Think about that.
Send us your photos please. I would love to know that my message spread this holiday season!
