It is with a heavy heart that we are going to be taking a pause in operations and reducing our flocks down drastically. We have appreciated everyone's support and business the last year, more than you know. Seeing our birds going to loving homes to grow and thrive has been the greatest joy.
Unfortunately we realized today that the mental, financial and emotional toll of hatching and raising so many birds has become too much to bear while also working our weird schedules without outside the home help. We also truly love all of these birds and feel each loss deeply, whether our own ignorance or from "farm life".
This is not goodbye. We live where we do and commute 150 miles each day so we could have our own farm and run our own business as a family. We're going to take some time to shore up our infrastructure and build up our bank for next season.
Please keep an eye on this page over the next couple of weeks. We will be posting who will be up for discussion. Please note that our prices are going to be overly fair (as usual hence the financial pain😆) but we will NOT let a single bird go to a home that we are uncomfortable with. These aren't freezer camp birds, all of them are named by us and most were originally intended to be a part of our family and flock foundations. Please don't message asking for specific breeds until we post up who is available.
Thank you everyone for your support and understanding in this extremely difficult time. It has truly been one of the greatest joys in our lives to meet you, share our love of birds and help you build your own flocks.
