Free ranging chickens on a farm has been a huge learning experience. When we were unruly as kids and my mom had lost all patience she would yell, “I shoulda raised chickens!”
I’m determined. I never knew I could like them so much. Here’s to not giving up!

On another note. One of my favorite hobbies is baking. I don’t get to do it much. Dennis reacts to gluten so by suggestion from I started baking with this. It was great for carrot cake and pancakes. I’ll let you know about the brownies.

Thistles are brutiful. Brutal if you brush up against it, step on it with bare feet. But incredibly beautiful. I didn’t cut him while trimming weeds just for this moment. Oh and we’re ready for picnics by the creek.
