When our 5-year-old went to get a duck egg, like he does every day at 8 a.m., he was elated and shaking with excitement. He could barely utter the words, "We have baby ducks." We all went out to see, and, well, he's right, we have 10 ducklings. It's spring around here — ducklings, more eggs, and baby goat kids.
It's wild but seeing these kids love spring and so excited makes it worth it.
