Ainzley, aka “The Goat Whisperer” and her family came for one of our first ever Kid Hugging events in 2022 and it was obvious from the start that goats were in her future! As goat math often goes, the two doelings they bought from us that spring have multiplied to fourteen as they moved to Ohio and started building a homestead. I was so excited that her family was visiting Maine and able to come to our event yesterday! Ainzley, now an eight year old is participating in 4-H and still attracts every kid in the barn to her lap!

CapraNova Nordic Knight (Acadia Lucky Clover X Naissance King of the Hill) arrived at Honey Wilde Farm on Friday, and I am SO EXCITED! As an F6 Mini-Nubian, he’s bringing the long ears, beautiful spots, and some really nice milking genetics with him, plus he’s a total sweetheart!

Barnes Baked Goods will be joining us for our Kid Hugging Event THIS Sunday from 10:30-noon!
Amanda will be bringing brownies, muffins, scones, fruit crumble cups, and her famous focaccia breads!
Come check out our farm products, load up on baked goods for the long weekend, and cuddle some baby goats!

The “first pick” has been made, and I am so happy to report that Belle’s triplets will be staying together!
The couple met the babies, and while they originally planned to get four kids, they also like CHILL goats, and Belle’s girls definitely are that!
The other kids are now available. We have really amazing milking genetics as well as super sweet personalities if you are looking for pets!

I bet your friends and family would think you were really cool if you showed up at the BBQ with a red, white and blue appetizer this weekend.😉
Cranberry & Orange and Maine Blueberry Chèvre will be available this weekend at on Saturday 9-2, Saturday 3-7. On Sunday the farm store will be open with chèvre, soaps, lotions, candles, and FREE Goat Kid Hugging from 10:30-noon!

Mae and Mini Mae💗

If you have visited the farm this year, you have met Mae’s kids! They are the first to jump onto laps and demand snuggles, definitely not to be ignored- just like Mae!
Our farm will be open this Sunday morning from 10:30-noon for Kid Hugging, no reservations required!
