Common Wealth Farm LLC Started as a family farm, it is owned by Charles and Jackie Wilson and managed by son Tim. Our motto is, "Local Food Is Our Common Wealth."

After 15 years of meat bird production, we have hung up our pluckers and are now concentrating on our free-range layers that feed on grass, bugs, and non-GMO food. We strive to practice sustainable and ecologically sound methods in all our endeavors. We sell our products at farmers' markets, restaurants, and community markets in Maine. When creating value added products, we either grow our own items or try to purchase them from Maine farms and vendors.

**Lights Out Alert This Weekend**

Heads up birders, a lot of migration is expected during Labor Day Weekend. The fall migration season is about to kick into high gear. We have a unique set up this weekend as a strong area of low pressure in the Atlantic will be tilted just right to provide a wind from the north to northeast across the Northeast and eastern Great Lakes region. The low level wind flow will continue to guide birds toward the Gulf. Saturday night will likely be the biggest migration night of the weekend with more than 300 million birds in flight. We are about 2-3 weeks away from the fall migration peak. You can help by turning off those outdoor lights on big migration nights.

As vendors at both Camden Farmers' Market and Rockland Farmers' Market through 2024, we were very fortunate to be part of a caring community of farmers and producers. Sarah Tomkins of Fine Line Farm was one of them. Her vivacious personality lit up those early Saturday mornings. We are shocked to learn that she was seriously injured at the Robbins Lumber Yard fire. Join us in helping out in whatever way is possible for you.
