Welcome to Common Wealth Farm!
Tim and Beth move 24 chicken and turkey "tractors" every single day to fresh grass and clover. Recently, Beth's dog Willow decided to help out and now has the job of ensuring the chickens on the far side of the tractor stay in. She works for praise!

Heading off to work (pond) first thing in the morning...well, all but the guy that decided to stop off for breakfast ... pays to be last in line sometimes!
Act 1: Chicks 2021
The babies have arrived!
They are one day old when they are delivered. We count each one and dip its beak into water. They are then free to explore! The ambient temp has to be kept around 90 degrees F for at least a few days. At two weeks, they go into the next brooder until they are fully feathered. By four weeks, they are ready to move onto pasture to enjoy grass, clover, bugs, and sunshine. (Hard work and photo credits to Tim Wilson and Beth Phillips)
