Penn State Beef and Sheep

This is a huge undertaking and an incredible honor for Penn State! Hosting the National Convention takes months of relentless planning, from coordinating farm tours and industry speakers to managing logistics for student delegations from across the country.

We are proud of our students and can’t wait to help showcase PA Agriculture this coming April!

We had a great AI Day with Jake Ritenour and his wife, Katelynn! Dr. Ritenour is a PSU Grad and a Beef/Sheep Alum, so having him back to AI our ewes was an awesome full circle moment for us!

A few of our PSU Students also came out to help and even had the chance to look through the scope at a few ovaries!

Don’t worry, our girls are back to being upright and happily munching on hay!

We have an exciting fall lambing season fast approaching, but I’m excited to see how these girls settle! Might be a busy February! 🐑
