This year gave us the best honey we've had in 4 year. Hives were placed by a flower farmer. And the floral notes cone through.
Pints are $15 each!
And elderberry syrup is $25 a pint.

As a mom of four, this one really hit home. ❤️
When school is out, not every child has reliable access to breakfast and lunch. That's why I wanted to shine a light on the incredible work The Peace Bus is doing through their All Youth Can Eat program.
From July 1 through September 1, participating restaurants across our community are providing FREE meals for kids and eligible college students on designated days. What an amazing example of neighbors helping neighbors.
I put together a blog with all the details, participating locations, and a little more about Peace Bus and the heart behind this mission.

I caught this swarm from inside a tree in East Tacoma, so watching them choose this tiny hole over the wide hive entrance has me thinking. 🐝

Even though they have a perfectly good front door, they keep using the small opening by the entrance instead. It makes me wonder if this feels more natural and secure to them. Maybe we've been giving bees big front doors because it's easier for us—not because it's what they prefer.

What do you think? If you're a beekeeper, have you noticed your bees choosing the smallest entrance they can find?

I don't want to create jewelry that's beautiful for a few years.

I want to create the pieces your children ask about. The ring that gets passed to a daughter. The pearl necklace that comes out for every wedding, anniversary, and holiday. The bracelet that carries a lifetime of memories before it finds its next home with someone you love.

That's why my heart has always been set on working with solid gold, natural diamonds, genuine gemstones, and real pearls. These materials have stood the test of time for generations, and they deserve to be crafted into something that will too.

Every design begins with one question: "Will this still be beautiful 50 or 100 years from now?"

If the answer isn't yes, it isn't finished.

I believe jewelry should be more than an accessory. It should tell your story, celebrate your milestones, and become part of your family's legacy.

That's the kind of jewelry I want to spend my life creating. ❤️

One of our favorite parts of owning Honey's Healthy Hive is the incredible people we've met along the way.

For over five years, we've had the honor of delivering our raw local honey to our dear friend, Shawn Tibbitts, at Tibbitts@FernHill. What started as a business relationship has become a true friendship, and today we're celebrating one of Tacoma's finest chefs and one of the kindest people we know.

We recently stopped by to deliver fresh honey and bee pollen, catch up with Shawn and his family, and share why Tibbitts@FernHill continues to be one of our favorite places to visit.

These flowers are beautiful, but they're not what I love most.

What means the world to me is what they represent. As long as flowers are blooming, my husband and our boys keep fresh bouquets all around our home. It's their way of reminding me every single day how deeply I'm loved, how much they care about me, how appreciated I am, and that they believe I deserve flowers just because.

The flowers eventually fade, but the love behind them never does. ❤️🌸
