Here's one thing what that AMAZES me bout cattle industry shown. We have cattle on green pasture, hay bales or silage if necessary. Free to roam around in ample space. These people slam cattle in lots, give growth hormones, limited amount of space with terrible muddy conditions, and inject them with multiple shots of vaccinations/treatments for overpacked lots. AND in the end the public buys the mush meat from Cysco or other public entities. Farm raised beef with ample pasture and not slammed in small lots will without doubt have better flavor. May have a tendency to be a little tougher, all due to the fact the animal can actually move around and create more muscle that lot RAISED. Know your source it's not always about price. Your feeding your BODY with it.

Finally get to enjoy a green pasture.

Its real Folks . We haven't had rain in a long time. Pastures are completely gone. We were able to run our cows on this pasture for 8 days this year. Normally we can cell graze from this on and off throughout summer. Never seen anything like it. Was hoping to buy grass hay this year at a normal price but has made it nearly impossible with 4x5 or 5x6 rounds going for $100-$250/ bale. Normal average is 50-$65. Sold %30 of herd, hopefully hang onto the rest which we have put our time and effort into creating a distinct herd to grow more. We all pray for rain to make it through the next step. We feed Merica! God bless the farmers.
