🗣📌 *Update* We're still here! We're currently busy behind the scenes making sure the products we share with you are 100% safe for your kiddos. Did you know many handmade kid items do not hold Child Product Safety Compliance even though it is a US requirement for any product intended for a child under the age of 12? This includes small hobby business items that are sold or given away as well. While we love homemade and local -- and of course *love* making ourselves!, we are committed to ensuring your child's safety first. We are fortunate to have found this process early on in our endeavor, although it will hold us up for a time. Compliance, especially for items similar in nature to ours, can be quite the process -- and often takes weeks, if not months to meet all protocols - including but not limited to: flammability testing for fabrics, small parts testing, lead and phthalate testing, just to name a few. If you have questions about this or the items you are allowing your kids access to - feel free to reach out, refer to the CSPC website or look for items marked "Meets CSPC Safety Requirements" when purchasing. We love our products are doing all we can to make sure we can still produce them in a fully compliant capacity. In the mean time, we are still here to share play ideas and learning topics. We are excited for what's to come -- we're still cooking over here, just on the back burner for now! Stayed Tuned!

Ever see sensory play ideas and wonder, what the heck am I supposed to do with this? Great news! *You* don’t have to do anything! Kids know exactly what they are doing. Their brains are working when introduced to new objects or combinations—it may not always make sense to us, but they’re making connections and processing their surroundings—-through play!

This is one of our favs for February - perfect for Valentine's, love themes, or any time of year really! There's never not a good time to tell your little "I love you", even if they are "super smelly" ;)

Apparently it's National Hot Chocolate Day! It's the perfect day for it where I'm at - cold and rainy with no end in sight.
