🥬 Just a little heads-up… it’s our LAST Thursday at Buck’s!

We’re making these last two days in Alsip count! We just picked up fresh sweet corn and beautiful, in-season cabbage, and the stand is fully stocked and ready for you. Whether you’re cooking something cozy or squeezing in one more corn-on-the-cob dinner, come grab the good stuff! 🌽🍂

Our final day at the Alsip stand is TOMORROW, Friday, October 16. We’ll have sweet corn through the weekend, so you can still get your fix at Saturday’s markets!

It’s our last Tuesday at Buck’s, and we picked up fresh sweet corn this morning! We’ll have it fresh every day this week, and then that’s a wrap on an amazing and delicious sweet corn season! Come grab some while it’s fresh and in stock!🌽

All our remaining beautiful mums will be at the farmstand today, October 12. Come pick your favorites, enjoy this summer-like Columbus Day, and grab some fresh produce and other deals while you’re here! ☀️🍂

🌽 Sweet corn season is slowing down! We have corn from this weekend’s harvest available today, and the farm plans to harvest more tomorrow. We’ll keep you updated as we know more on last days of corn, but come get some while we still have it!

🍁 Weekend Recap: Alsip Fall Fest! 🍁

We had such a great time celebrating with our community this past Saturday! Our pumpkin-painting station was full of little local artists, and we loved seeing all the colorful creations they came up with🎃

The corn-eating contest also brought plenty of excitement, and your favorite Buck’s sweet corn to help fuel the fun! The adult competition was so close, it ended in a tie!🌽🏆Dave from Buck’s looked pretty serious getting ready for the contest, but he was just there to cheer everyone on and capture the fun, not compete😄

We’re always happy to donate the festival decorations each year. Seeing them brighten Alsip during the fest and around town afterward makes us proud to play a small part in making our village feel festive. Thank you to the Village of Alsip for having us, and to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. This is one of our favorite fall traditions, and we’re grateful to be a part of it!❤️

We had so much fun with the community at Palos Park’s Autumn in the Park Festival last weekend! Seeing all the creative pumpkins the kids make is one of our favorite ways to welcome fall. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent, painted a pumpkin, and spent part of the day with us!🎨🎃

These pictures are a little sneak peek of what’s coming to Alsip Fall Fest this Saturday! This is where we first started our pumpkin-painting tradition 3 years ago, and we’re so excited to bring it back again, along with some of our Farmstand favorites: homemade Honeycrisp applesauce, homemade zucchini bread, farm-fresh eggs, and local honey!🍎🍞🥚🍯

Alsip fall festival will be packed with fall fun, including a craft fair, food trucks, live music, hayrides, a petting zoo, bingo, a b**r tent, the corn-eating contest, with some corn you may recognize!😉🌽 Check out the attached flyer for more details on this weekend’s Alsip Fall Fest😁
