The 2027 Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) license renewal season is officially open. The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) is launching early this year to give businesses plenty of time to review details and renew seamlessly ahead of schedule.

One of the things I enjoy about the work I do is that I’m always learning something new.

While helping an elderly client get some important affairs in order, I discovered that the Arizona Attorney General’s Office offers a FREE Life Care Planning packet with legal forms to help Arizonans document their wishes and designate people to assist with healthcare decisions.

It includes a Health Care Power of Attorney, Living Will, Mental Health Care Power of Attorney, DNR form and more, all available at no cost.

Summer naturally brings a bit of a slowdown for many businesses - mine included. And honestly, that’s not always a bad thing!

If things have been a little quieter for you too, I hope you’ve taken advantage of it. Get out and explore, find somewhere cooler, take a day off just because you can.

But it’s also a great time to tackle some of those projects that get pushed aside when things are busy - updating files, organizing records, catching up on paperwork, planning ahead or finally getting that project started.

Working from home can get a little daunting. With the temps sky-high, you can't just take a quick walk outside. So today, I ventured over to Grande Shops for an indoor stroll. I ended up with a cheery new dish towel, some delicious bagels, and a half mile in steps too!
