Before Kim Howard ever came to Mississippi, before Black Jack Ranch, and before Wagyu beef, her story started on a dairy farm in California.

That work ethic eventually carried her into the LAPD, where she spent 12 years serving in Southeast Los Angeles, including time in the gang unit during one of the city’s most intense eras.

It is an unlikely road from dairy farm to law enforcement to ranching, but it all shaped the way Kim approaches the work she does today.

Saturday mornings hit different at Black Jack Ranch.

The Black Jack Ranch food truck is back this weekend, rain or shine, starting at 8AM until we sell out! 🍔

Then walk through the market and load up for the week: Fresh sourdough and cinnamon rolls, ranch-raised Prime Wagyu and Angus beef, farm eggs, seasonal produce, housemade sauces and sides, and beef tallow products!
