Wow 😳 I pulled down ALL of my yarn and roving…and yes, there’s A LOT. 😂🧶

First, I logged EVERYTHING—with pictures, brand, weight, yardage, where I got it, what I paid and anything else I thought was important—in a journal using the Zinnia app. (I LOVE this app for keeping all my notes!!!)

Now I can literally “shop” my yarn stash just by scrolling through my journal. 😜🛍️🧶

But then I decided to take it a step further…

After living full-time in our RV for almost a year, traveling through 3 different time zones, 11 states and a whole lot of different climates, I wanted a better—and safer—way to store all my precious gold…I mean YARN. 😂🧶

So I broke everything down into manageable bundles, vacuum sealed it, added labels and BAM 💥—easy-peasy storage!

Now it’s all neatly tucked back up in the loft, takes up less space, and has an extra layer of protection from moisture and those dreaded little fiber-loving bugs. 🙅‍♀️🦋

And the best part? I actually KNOW WHAT I HAVE now! 😂🎉

I’m calling this a full-time RV fiber-artist win. 🧶🚐❤️

Back in NM for a bit. Visiting family, trip to our vet, getting our generator replaced. Still love our NM sunrises…less in love with the windmills on the horizon 😒

Not everyday is a day out and about. On this day-there are multiple loads of laundry being done, dogs enjoying their current space, always a project on the knitting needles and John balling up yarn for my next project.

A visit to Clinton, Iowa scattered throughout town you’ll find the Tree Theives-Marvin, Helmut and Warren and following the clues you can find the location of the Enchanted Branches.
Next to a little city, east the mighty Mississippi creeps
There was a forest full of trees and there the trolls used to sleep
The oldest brother was named Warren, then came Helmut, then came Marvin As they slept they felt a warning, what might happen in the morning
When the humans come around, the trees will fall upon the ground
They will throw them in the river drowned and then they'll float them into town
They will haul them on the riverbanks, then store and dry them on the lands And then a giant metal hand will grab and cut them into planks
As the trolls slept, the years went by, a city built so wide and high
With everything the eye could buy, until the wooden well went dry
The trolls woke up now all alone, the trees were gone, their only home
Between the roots and stumps they roamed, they turned up over every stone
First night the trolls in silence grieved, next night they all went out to seek Along the riverbanks and creeks, they found a city full of thieves
The trolls were stunned in disbelief, and so they came back in the eve
