The night before the parade, 6 of these fire police signs were stolen from around town. A police report was filed but so far nothing has turned up. If anyone has any information, we ask that you please contact Hemlock Township PD or leave a message at the fire hall, 5704585783. Thank you.

We have been working on some upgrades to our spring tank this weekend. We installed a in-line Dosatron fertilizer injector system which we can by-pass when we don't want to fertilize. This will make life easier and a more consistent feeding for our veggies.. We also now have water piped to the greenhouse! 😉 No more pulling hoses all over the place..

We have been busy the last week starting to get things planted. Our trays have made their way outside for an hour a day...got out peas, sweet onions and potatos planted. We are glad to say our greenhouse is 99% done and ready to start growing in.

Our Homestead

For sometime now Tiff, the kids and I have been dreaming of the day that we can have our own small hobby farm. Well in the summer of 2017 we were able to start that dream by moving out of town to our 2.5 acres in the valley and building our modest home. While the work on the house is never ending, we move our attention to laying out the land. Our hopes of becoming more self sufficient as well as having our little road side stand in order to share our fruits of labor with others in the community is underway.

Once things have gotten a little more established Christian will be making more or his unique woodworking items.
