We believe that the goal of agriculture is not just growing crops and raising cattle, but cultivating people, and that investing in youth is investing in the future of farming.

This week, Darlington High School's Ag Tech class made up of juniors and seniors, taught by Mr Justin Doyle came to have class and a tour at Biddick, learning about our seed and cattle operations. They asked a lot of great questions and we thank them for visiting with us.

Biddick harvest is underway! Please be careful when encountering our trucks, and equipment on the highway. Observe traffic laws and avoid distracted driving. Make a plan to leave earlier if you have a scheduled time to be somewhere. Unfortunately, our equipment is not equipped to operate as fast as we'd like.

There's an old saying that says "Pink sky (or red) in the morning, sailors take warning" which likely means that a high pressure system has moved eastward (this was looking east) and a low pressure system is moving in with rain attached. This picture was taken earlier this week and it rang true with the rain we saw all day yesterday.
