So this morning, we here at Leichliter Well Pump Service, woke up to no water ourselves! We turned on our kitchen faucet and…nothing!

Clayton went downstairs to look at our tank and make sure we had pressure. He noticed the water softener was re-generating, which usually happens at 2am, but with all of the power outages, the time on ours changed! Our jet pump and spring were focused on filling the softener, so the water pressure in the home was non-existent. This is why we set your softener time to re-gen to sometime overnight, but those darn power outages can change that time!

We know that it’s not a great start to wake up to no water in your house (trust me!!) and you can trust we review your whole system to ensure we’re diagnosing and fixing the problem promptly. This customer wanted to know if we could improve the water pressure in his home in New Hope. He had a traditional pump setup, so we recommended a constant pressure system with a MagForce High Efficiency Franklin motor! The three phase MagForce motor runs more efficiently, which means more money saved on your electric bill with better pressure! He also needed a new softener to better protect his home (and appliances!) from hard water stains and buildup.

Happy to help a first-time well owner with a typical well inspection. They wanted to have their system evaluated so, we ran tests on the 39 year old well pump that “Pop” (Tim) put in back in 1987! The customers wanted to update the system with a new Franklin submersible well pump and a sealed well cap. We hope this new system lasts the homeowners 39 more years!

Almost two years later and we’re happy that everything we do is still a family tradition!
