Thank you Crosby Hops for sending me samples from the 2026 hop harvest! The 2026 hop harvest and selection is in full swing and it’s always a joy rubbing hops and doing a sensory analysis of the different hop lots and discovering the unique differences each hop lot offers. Excited to be using some of these fantastic hops in the near future! Cheers!

Artifact - Mexican Style L***r - 5% ABV.

Returning for the last time this year, Artifact is a bright, easy-drinking Mexican-style l***r brewed with a 50/50 base of pilsner malt and flaked maize. The pilsner malt brings a clean, crackery backbone, while the maize adds a soft touch of corn tortilla sweetness. Light-bodied and crisp, it finishes dry and snappy, with just a subtle hint of sweet corn tortilla character and lime notes from Motueka hops that keep each sip refreshing. It’s straightforward, no-nonsense, and something you will keep coming back to for another sip again and again.

Enjoy Artifact while it lasts and as the summer days begin to fade away.

Cross Current - India Pale Ale - 7.3% ABV

India pale ale mash hopped with Motueka and fermented with Sauvignon Blanc grape skin powder. A neutral, thiol-expressive yeast strain was used in this ale in order to unlock and develop tropical fruit flavors from the thiols locked up inside the barley, hops, and grape skins. The result is a bright and expressive India pale ale with exotic, tropical fruit flavors.
