It was a beautiful day yesterday at the HJFF. Our crew enjoyed showing off their skills they learned throughout the year with their heifers.

Last week, Brooke & “Suzie” took on the Baltimore County 4-H Fair Dairy show, and the results have us even more excited about this promising calf.

Brooke also had an outstanding day in the showmanship ring, earning:

With the largest dairy show the Baltimore County 4-H Fair has seen in many years, we're incredibly proud to have our animals continue to stand out and prove themselves. We can’t wait to see what this team has in store for future shows.🔥

Today, the girls attended HMS Ag Day! The girls, along with Aphina and Apples, enjoyed sharing their passion for the dairy industry and helping educate youth about dairy farming and animal care practices. 🐄🥛

We had a great time supporting at their 2026 Ag Day today!🍎🐄🚜

We brought Apples for the animal kissing booth and the lime truck for the Touch-A-Truck fundraiser. We had a great time connecting with the community!
Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun day!

Sunday was Brown Swiss classification day, here are the highlights:

KGKS Toby Ana Pixie earned her second Excellent score of 90.
KGKS Omalley Analeez joined the Excellent lineup with a 90 of her own!
Our first lactation cows showed up strong:
KGKS Design Aphina & KGKS Firstchoice Auburn — Very Good 86
KGKS Famous Stellar Sass ET — 83

These scores reflect the growth in this herd year after year, and we are excited for whats ahead ✨

This troublemaker decided to take us on a search & rescue mission this evening… I think she knew I had dinner plans!😆 Besides that, she is our first calf since March 20th! Excited to get back in the swing of things!
