We value community and connections. It’s our “why.” We had the privilege of catering Reno and Rebecca’s wedding, and their son Abe’s 1st birthday. They visit us regularly bringing their dogs, Walter and Eloise. Rebecca is a physician assistant and heard about us through her coworker, Tricia.

Scott is Tricia’s cardiology PA who advised her cardiology journey from the beginning. Scott had never been to Char’d, so Tricia gave him a gift card as a thank you. Tricia said, “It was the most special thing I could think of to express my appreciation!”

Oh my goodness, what a complete honor for us! Our hope is that our smoked eats nourish your body; the time and presence it creates, nourish your soul.

Thank you Tricia, Rebecca, Reno, and Scott! We love your story, and it’s a privilege to be a part of it. 🫶🏿

People are increasingly drawn to places where they feel welcomed, remembered, and genuinely known. Sociologist Ray Oldenburg calls this the “third place” (first place: home, second place: work).
