Gibbs is still healing, and being a good patient. He sure could use all the prayers he can get for proper healing to continue doing his job. Thank you!

The ladies are spoiled. They get fresh grass every 3 days. It takes less than 5 minutes to move them to the next paddock. That includes relocating the mineral feeder as changing the waterer around. Moving days are happy days.

The weekend was spent catching up around the farm. It may have been extremely loud, but my office views were wonderful. Now, every paddock has been clipped and time to move to the next project.

This handsome young dude put himself in a pickle and got hurt. So thankful for Nurse Mable helping to keep him calm while in the corral. He has been a wonderful patient so far this week. Praying everything heals right and Gibbs can go back out for the next breeding season. You could put them in a padded cell and they would still manage to get hurt.

Today was sale day! We spend almost a year fretting over, pampering, and ensuring the health and comfort, for it all to end in a very fast run through the sale ring. Thankfully, the people at our local barn make sale day as stress free for us as they can. Cheers to a bittersweet day, and wonderful people at the end of it all. Now to look forward to the next calving season, and a short break of feeding calves.

Having ourselves a little love hate relationship with this current weather pattern. I hate it, because I can get nothing accomplished. Love it, because its keeping that grass growing. For today, it was spent in the kitchen restocking some pantry necessities. We hope you had a wonderful day.

Every morning, they have rearranged the feed bunks. Every morning, they "help" fix them. 😆 Such oinkers.
