This new layer was hatched from our eggs through one of our hatching kits. You never fully know what color eggs you’ll get until they start laying—and this is why we love the mystery!

Around-the-clock care for these two little fighters. 🐷🍼

After a heartbreaking start, these piglets are now warm, safe, and getting bottle feedings here in the house. Farming comes with both joy and loss, and right now we’re pouring our energy into the part we can change—giving these babies every chance to thrive.

They may be tiny, but they’re strong and determined already.

Thank you for all the kind words and support. We know so many of you are rooting for them right alongside us. 🤍

Sometimes farm stories don’t unfold the way we hope. 💔

Many of you were following along with our mama pig’s pregnancy, so we wanted to share an honest update. She delivered 10 piglets, but only 2 survived. We believe, as a first-time mama, she chose a less-than-ideal spot to farrow and likely labored overnight during the cold. By the time we found them, the little ones had gotten too chilled.

The two survivors are now inside with us, warm and being bottle-fed around the clock. We’re doing everything we can to give them the best chance.

This is one of the hardest parts of farming—loving your animals deeply while knowing nature doesn’t always go according to plan. We’re heartbroken for the loss, but grateful for the two little fighters still with us.

Thank you for caring about our animals and following their stories with us. We’ll keep you updated on these tiny babies as we can. 🐷🍼
