Meaty Appreciation Post! 🐖

I’m going to be honest with you, pigs were on my list of animals we were never getting….

Then I got a text from an old coworker of mine asking if we’d be able to take in a potbellied, the owner’s had to move last minute and couldn’t take her with them.

A quick convo with my wonderful husband, and we were making plans to drive 45 minutes to pick her up.

Now, we couldn’t imagine life without her. She’s such a good girl who comes running to the gate whenever we’re out.

We had a surprise birth on Tuesday! First picture was moments before our Phoebe began screaming in terror 😵‍💫. She had three healthy babies and is doing a great job with her motherly duties.
Henry witnessed the entire thing and said it was beautiful to watch Phoebe hatch her babies 😂.
